Hello, my fellow pack members! I am one of the managing members of Ruff Life ATX and super proud to be part of this dynamic team. I grew up with dogs so I have always been surrounded by animals. While I typically work behind the scenes, I can’t resist spending time with your pets! So you can find me helping out from time to time. My hobbies include travel, hiking/riding trails with my dog Loki, and indoor skydiving!
Hey, My name is Ciera! I recently moved to Austin from Wisconsin (mainly for the warmth and dog friendliness). I am a business graduate, and I am part of the management team here at Ruff Life. I have grown up in a house with lizards, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rats, ferrets, hermit crabs, fish, hamsters, turtles, frogs, and chickens (not all at once). I also have volunteered at the Wisconsin Humane Society for many, many years. I have previous experience working at a dog boarding/daycare facility back in Wisconsin as well. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Austin with my Bernese Mountain dog, Luna and trying new restaurants.
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for dogs, both my own and those of friends and neighbors. I have also had and cared for cats, fish, hamsters, birds, and chickens. I love leading an active life and find Ausin to be the perfect place for exercise and outdoor adventure. I practice yoga and swimming, and I love being on the trails with my dog, Ajax.
Hi all! My name is Michelle, I recently graduated college from Massachusetts with an Environmental Science degree along with some wildlife biology courses. I recently moved to Austin, and I’m enjoying it very much and am excited to explore more. I have a 12-year-old yellow Lab with the biggest heart, and I have also had and cared for chickens, goats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish. I have been pet sitting for many years now and am so grateful to get to know so many wonderful animals. I also recently started to volunteer at the Austin Bat Refuge. I enjoy hiking, playing soccer, gardening, and eating delicious food.
I have always loved dogs since I was young. They fill my heart with lots of joy! I have a strong nurturing side so I love caring for things, especially when they are fluffy and love you unconditionally. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, running, and discovering wild plants and animals. I am originally from Chicago so Austin’s weather is a great match for me! I also just love to cuddle and relax on a comfy couch with some good ice cream.
Hello animal lovers, my name is Elise. I am currently enrolled in a community college and transferring to St. Edward’s University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. Growing up, I always loved being around and taking care of animals. I lived on a small farm where I took care of chickens, horses, and cows. I have two fur babies; Sophie is an Australian Shepherd and Riley is a Border Collie. In my free time I love to play video games, watch movies, and take my pups on hikes.
My name is Matt, and I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. A huge dog lover, I’ve had the opportunity to raise a Great Pyrenees, Lab, and two Pitbulls over the course of my life. Currently, my Pitbull Bella keeps me sane and happy with her loving and chill personality. I also grew up raising rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and I currently have a Bearded Dragon named Drogon in my household as well. When I’m not caring for dogs or running my group fitness business (Camp Gladiator), I’m usually doing outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, and running. I’m also a huge sports fan. Go Cubs, Go Bears, Go Bulls, Go Blackhawks!! (I’m originally from Chicago if you didn’t notice)
Greetings! My name is JoEllen, an avid traveler, adventurer, outdoor enthusiast, and most importantly to you, an animal lover! I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents for some reason allowed us to have enough rabbits that each kid could have their own (that’d be 7), 3 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, and a cat. Nothing makes my day better than spending time outdoors and seeing an animal just light up when you enter the room. While not spending time with animals, you can find me trying out new hobbies, exercising, cooking, or trying to keep my plants alive. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!
